This is a great place for lunch, especially if you're staying on one of the cruise boats that dock below the Luxor Temple. Located below the Corniche, and between it and the Nile, the restaurant is quiet and more or less hassle-free. Better yet, it looks over a small faluca dock, so your view is unobstructed by the massive boats that blight much of the waterfront here. The outside seating has the best view and is protected from the sun by an awning; inside the atmosphere is pleasant with tiled floors, dark wood trim, and paintings of local scenes. The menu is an unremarkable mix of grilled chicken and pizza, but the grilled fish is excellent. They serve local beers and sunset cocktails, but if sundowners are what you're after, try the Cocktail Sunset Bar a couple of hundred meters to the north.
