This famous ice cream parlour in the centre of Rome opened back in the early 1900s and has prospered ever since. There's a good choice of traditional flavours but they specialise in vanilla, chocolate and Zabaione (a dessert made of egg yolks, sugar and marsala). Also, try the fruit desserts during winter and don't miss out on perfectly prepared coffees and their whipped cream. The pavement has a long row of tables where the many passers-by take a rest on their trek down one of Rome's most famous streets, Via Condotti.
