Green Meadows self catering is situated in a peaceful rural location, about 4km the village of Kilfenora, County Clare. It is suitable for people seeking tranquility, as well as families with children. The cottage is located less than 2km from the owner’s family farm, where children are welcome to take part in milking the cows and collecting the breakfast eggs. Green Meadows is an old-fashioned cottage that has been fully renovated. It features a modern, spacious kitchen; sitting room with cosy open fire; master bedroom with ensuite bathroom; and two additional bedrooms along with a shared bathroom. The cottage can comfortably accommodate six people. Bed linen and some towels are provided, while a baby cot is also available. On arrival, guests are welcomed with home baking and throughout their stay, they are welcome to visit the main house for a cup of tea and a chat. Guests can drive right through the heart of the Burren to the Aillwee Cave and Ballyvaughan. From there they can follow the coast road via the beaches of Fanore to the fishing village of Doolin, famous for its traditional Irish music sessions and day trips to the Aran Islands. Not to be missed, just south of Doolin, are the Cliffs of Moher and a couple of kilometres on, there is Lahinch, home to a beautiful beach and championship golf course. In the evenings, visitors can enjoy traditional Irish music and set dancing in Kilfenora. The owners are happy to teach guests a few steps, so they can join in on the fun themselves.
