Humayun's Tomb, As the name suggests this magnificent Mughal building is the tomb of the emperor Humayun, which was built by his grieve stricken wife Haji Begum in 1565-66. Known as one of the garden tombs of India, the most important attraction of Humayun's Tomb include a sand stone mausoleum in the shape of rose petal, a hamam (bath chamber), double domes and a pavilion known as baradari. This tomb seems to reflect the rich and the glorious past of the Mughals and is said to have inspired the construction of the Taj Mahal, which is one of the 8 wonders of the world.
