Located within the Esplanade Park, the Indian National Army Monument was erected in 1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II and is part of a series of 11 World War II sites in Singapore.

The World War II plaque marks the site of the Indian National Army memorial which was destroyed after the war, and is dedicated to an unknown soldier of the Indian National Army during the Japanese Occupation.
