About

Italistro is a Mediterranean influenced restaurant in west cork with many dishes inspired from the food and provinces of Italy. The owner Daniele Quatrana moved from Rome Italy some 30 years ago and in 2007 decided to open a much needed good eating house in the quiet west cork town of Bandon. The name Italistro is a synonym of the two words: Italy and bistro, so together they promote Mediterranean food with a relaxed bistro style eating experience. The restaurant guides to west cork are very keen to promote good eating experiences in Ireland and here at Italistro you will get just that. Most of the dishes here are simple unfussy and prepared freshly to order, using local ingredients with a little Italian flair. We all remember those holidays on the continent don’t we, eating and drinking under a warm sun some of the freshest fish the thinnest pizzas and the delicious chilled wines.Well here at Italistro restaurant we try and conjure up some of those memories by creating an authentic atmosphere and serving you those delicious holiday food memories. If you are looking for a great evening to spend with friends or family in west cork then why not come down and see us in Bandon.
