The Japan Foundation, Jakarta is a non-profit organization that specializes in cultural exchange between Japan and Indonesia. Their primary mission is to establish communication and build understanding between the peoples of Japan and the world. The Japan Foundation is a non-profit organization specialized in the field of culture pertukaraan formed by the Japanese parliament in 1972, the Institute is based in Tokyo, a branch office in Kyoto, two Japanese institutes (in Urawa and Kansai), as well as 23 foreign offices in 21 state. The Japan Foundation, Jakarta was established in 1979 with the aim to build a harmonious friendship between Indonesia and Japan through deepening understanding of Japan.
