La Posta

Gobernador Moyano and Bustillo Cuisines: American

About

Although it's in a building separate from the Posada Los Alamos, the La Posta is considered to be part of that hotel. This has long been considered El Calafate's most upscale restaurant, serving great cuisine and choice wines in a formal, candlelit environment. The menu, printed in four languages, offers well-prepared dishes that effectively blend Argentine and international-flavored fare, such as filet mignon in a puff pastry with rosemary-roasted potatoes, king crab ravioli, almond trout, or curried crayfish. Desserts are superb. A lovely breakfast buffet is served here for guests every morning, and the service both morning and night is exquisite.
