Le Capoul

13 Place Wilson Cuisines: French

About

Near the Grand Capoul Hotel, this is a contemplative place, decorated harmoniously in yellow and white with plenty of plants. Expect a warm welcome in its warmly wood-panelled room whose stucco décor is reminiscent of the great classical designs in Paris. Dining here is à la carte: rillettes de lapin crème moutarde (potted rabbit with mustard sauce), Toulouse cassoulet (meat and bean stew), crème de pois cassé à l'oeuf poché (creamed peas with poached eggs) and assiette du Sud-Ouest (stuffed goose neck, preserved gizzards, dried duck's breast, slices of duck breast and fried foie gras) are all on offer. The seafood platters and dishes of oysters are equally tempting.
