Nick's Fishmarket Maui

At the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui Cuisines: Seafood

About

Here's the place to bring your sweetie to enjoy the moon rise and the sweet smell of the stephanotis growing on the terrace. Fans love this classic seafood restaurant that sticks to the tried and true. The few detractors complain that the food is too old style (circa 1970s), but most agree that there is a high degree of professionalism in both service and preparation, and it's hard to beat the fantasy setting on the south Maui shoreline. The Greek Maui Wowie salad gets my vote as one of the top salads in Hawaii. The rest of the menu features great fresh fish like opakapaka (one of the signature dishes), seared opah, and Hawaiian spiny lobster. There are ample choices for the nonfish-eaters as well, including rack of lamb, roasted chicken, and dry-aged New York steak.
