Good food, huge servings, and reasonable prices have made Papa's II one of the most popular and enduring restaurants in Hurghada. The setting is casual and friendly, and the food is excellent (they have a great midday breakfast). If you're looking for a light meal, try the salad niçoise or a plate of meatballs. Entrees are more substantial, and I recommend heading straight for the burgers. Papa's has built its reputation around its enormous 750g (1.65 lb.) burger, and it's confident enough to offer a second one free to anyone who can finish one on their own. Why they offer desserts after such big entrees is anyone's guess, but I'm glad they do; the selection changes daily but tends to revolve around favorites such as chocolate fudge cake and strawberries and cream.
