Let's be honest, the Pizzeria ai Marmi is not a romantic dining venue. But that's a good thing, and rightly so, there's nothing pretentious about this place. Truth also be told, the Pizzeria ai Marmi is dubbed "the morgue" for its bare interiors, but this is one of the liveliest (no pun intended) pizzerias in Trastevere. All that steam is not a fire in the kitchen, it's the hot food on everyones plates! It may look primitive to the eye but the pace of service and quality of food is simply astounding. For the adventurous, try their pizzas and calzones with flowers!
