Prashanthi Mandir consists of a two-storey structure built in granite. Main temple located in the Sathya Sai Ashram, the temple was constructed in 1950. The temple has a central prayer hall where 'Bhajans' are held daily. Silver and gems have been used to adorn this temple that also contains large images of Sathya Sai Baba.
Baba's statue is flanked by columns displaying the symbols associated with the major religions of the world. On a silver throne to one side is located a large marble idol of Sathya Sai Baba. On the other side, there is an empty gold throne representing the seat of the living deity.
