Ragunan Zoo is a 140-hectare zoo located in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It is home to over 270 species of animals, 171 species of flora, and employs over 450 people.
this open zoo is home to over 3000 animals most of which are native to Indonesia. This zoo has achieved remarkable success in its captive breeding program and today has white tigers, Sumatran tigers, pythons, komodo dragons, cockatoos, cassowary, parrots and even a world class primate enclosure. The main zoo also has a children's petting zoo, an ideal way to keep children occupied as well as teach them about loving and caring about animals.
