By day a refectory for students, Restaurant Triangel is open to all in the evenings, holidays and summer. Which is good news, because it offers delicious fare, somewhat lighter than the Austrian norm, with fresh, farm-sourced ingredients. Opposite the Small Festival Hall, its setting offers very pleasant surroundings away from the throngs. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room is compact, with a lively, relaxed atmosphere that encourages conversation. The menu, though not large, is imaginative. For some of its hardier menu items, a smaller serving is available at a discounted price.
