One of the biggest park in the Philippines, Rizal Park or locally known as Luneta, is a historical park that bore witness to the many events in Philippine history. The country's national hero, Jose P. Rizal was executed by the Spaniards in the grounds of Luneta. The park was named in honor of him and it is also the home of Rizal's famous monument. Today, Rizal Park is a place for rendezvous with friends and family. Walking along the park is a perfect way to relax and its grounds offer solitude away from the bustling sounds of the city.
