Shaul's Inn

11 Eliashiv St Cuisines: Arabic

About

The blockbuster of this neighborhood, with heavy wooden chairs, flagstone floors, and a large photomural of a Yemenite wedding on one wall, this kosher restaurant at the corner of Eliashiv can get packed out to the street on Saturday nights. Stick to the main room on the ground floor; downstairs, where there is an intimate restaurant and bar, the prices are more than double. English is spoken here, and the waiters will help you choose from the Middle Eastern menu. The specialty is the deliciously tasty lamb's breast stuffed with rice and pine nuts. Have a Turkish or Greek salad or a gorgeous stuffed eggplant, cabbage, or pepper.
