Wat Samrong Knong

About

The Wat Samrong Knong is literally translated as "wat in the forest." It is a very old pagoda that is located on the eastern side of the Sangker River. Back then, it was used as a Khmer Rouge prison. Therefore, there is a memorial in the pagoda for the victims of the regime of Khmer Rouge. If tourists would walk north, they would see some graphic illustrations.
