About

The one of four rack railways to exist in Germany, Zahnradbahn Stuttgart which is popularly known as Zacke, was introduced as early as 1884. Although the principal purpose of this railway is public transportation it serves as an excellent medium for taking a tour around the city. Hop on to the train as apart from being it an exciting way to travel, the journey would be quite reasonable and comfortable. The train starts from Marienplatz and stops at Degerloch.
