There is a clear gap in co-ordination between the India operation team and the overseas suppliers when finalising the bookings. Confirmation of our Phuket hotel booking came un-acceptably late after multiple follow ups.
The Telegram support is excellent.
Speed Boat travel from Phuket to Phi Phi Island was violently bumpy. The tour guide warned of this in advance particularly for heart patient and pregnant women. What was missed out was that - it is also not recommended for people with spine / back problem. Asish Mukherjee was panicky that this could become a health hazard. The turbulence was less on the return trip.
The Ayuthaya trip was combined with 4 other local places which made the trip un-necessary long with early pick-up from Hotel at 06:20 am. Avoiding the 4 stoppages, we could have easily started at 9 am after having breakfast in hotel and returned by 2 pm. The relics of Ayutthaya can be seen in 45 minutes (max);. Its a small place.
Ms. Leena had to cover up for all the lapses from back-end team. Thumbs-up to Leena. There is no escalation route while booking which is very frustrating. There are no timelines set for resolution when a problem is reported. There should be a Telegram like support after the first advance payment.
Overall Trip Factory did a commendable job.
