At the outset, there is a well defined process for interacting with the booking personnel, reviewing options, making payments and getting confirmations. The agent who worked with us during the booking was patient enough to accommodate our requests for various options. As promised, the Telegram channel was activated 24 hours prior to the departure. There were regular updates in the channel during the trip.
On the other hand, I have the following areas of improvement:
- There was no guidance in terms of what to expect and how to manage in a different country. No one in the team seem to know or have enough information about what and what not to do.
- There was no pre-departure briefing of any sort.
- They are pure aggregators and there was no local guidance or suggestions
- They tie up with local travel agents. Since we went through Trip factory, the local agents themselves were not very forthcoming
- Also, when I compare with the actual prices on the ground, the margin seem high.
- We had a couple of issues as well:
- Our airport pick up, for some strange reason, was booked 1.5 hours after the flight landing. When we asked for early pickup, we were refused. We took our own commute and they refused refund too.
- One of the vehicle was very small for a team of 5 people along with luggages. Not sure why. There was no explanation as well.
