Overall, it was a great experience. Well planned and well executed. Thanks Royan ! This was my first experience with TripFactory and definitely, I would consider it again as one of the options for my future travels. Below is my detailed feedback for this trip.
What went well / I liked:---
(1) Value for money. (2) Service delivery as promised. (3) I liked the detailed analysis of the sights and numerous discussions with Royan. He kept his calm and showed immense patience to my hundreds of questions and answered to all my queries very well. He was also available to my questions, be it late evenings. (4) Coordinators are Port-Blair and Havelock Island were friendly and showed great hospitality during my entire stay. Also, the Hotels provided were worth staying and were value for money. (5) The best part of this booking was that I got a refund or partial payment back for the sights missed out due to bad weather. It was a hassle-free event and I happened soon enough I raised the ticket. (6) I also liked the back-end customer support and prompt services / solution to my queries for every call I made till date.
What could have been better:---
(1) The coordinators at Neil Island showed hush-hush and were initially not interested in covering all sights as per itinerary. Later, they agreed to show, but in rush. (2) The accommodation at Neil Island doesn't seem like a 3-star and was not value for money. The facilities were more of a 2-star hotel. (3) There seemed to be a goof-up for our accommodation booking at Havelock. When we reached at the booked hotel, we were told that no booking was made on our name. But later, the coordinator arranged for a similar-type of accommodation at other property. I liked the dedication and efforts of the tour-coordinator and I understand things sometimes doesn't happen as predicted.
