About

A short walk from Østerport Station, one of the few authentic Hungarian restaurants in Copenhagen opened in fall 2011, and has been given an extremely favorable reception by local food critics. Specialties include 'lesco,' a Hungarian ragout (served either as starter with smoked sausage or as an accompaniment to the beef tenderloin) and a hearty bean soup. Mains are priced around DKK 200; 3-course menu DKK 305. The side bar of the establishment has been transformed into a Vinotek that is open from 11.30am until the restaurant next door opens around 5pm. Jazz nights first Thursday of the month, closed Sundays.
