In a city where galbi (beef short rib) restaurants span multiple levels, it's difficult to decide which one is the best. But once you've tasted the galbi at this place, this may fast be one of your favorites (though it's not much in the atmosphere department). Just like most other Korean places, they bring you the raw meat to cook on your table top grill, but here they provide real sutbul (wood charcoal) -- a real treat as it adds a smoky flavor. One of the signature dishes here is the galbitang (stewed beef ribs), but you'd better arrive early because they only make 40 orders of it per day. Their naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) and dolsot bibimbap (stone pot mixed rice) are also excellent.
