Although this well-known favorite is tucked away in a small alley (near the Sudo Pharmacy), you can't miss an ajumma or two making mandu in the window. Especially on chilly evenings, people line up for the restaurant's famous mandu guk (dumpling soup) with dumplings the size of fists, but the bibimbap (mixed rice bowl) is really good, too. If it's cold outside, I suggest trying the beosut jeongol (spicy mushroom hot pot), which is big enough to warm up both you and a friend.
