Cranmer Square

Armagh Street

About

Although Cramner Square is surrounded by busy roads, it is a surprisingly peaceful area of inner-city parkland. Orderly paths criss-cross the small park and olde worlde lamps are dotted here and there. Planned for in the first surveys of Christchurch and named after an English Anglican Church bishop, English-styled, tree-lined Cramner Square (actually a rectangle) has a plethora of historic buildings surrounding it. Expect Mary Poppins to pop out at any moment!
