Kibber is a village high in the Spiti Valley in the Himalayas at 4270 metres or 14,200 ft in Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It contains a monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Kibber lies in a narrow valley on the summit of a limestone rock.The Trek through the ancient Pashmina route starts from the Nomads headquarter of Korzok, near the Tsomoriri Lake approximately 240 kms from Leh.It was traditional route to reach Leh when Spiti was part of Ladakh. And in 19th Century Britisher used this route to enter into Highland of Ladakh to get high quality Pashmina.This adventurous and splendid trek is moderated and it passes through imposing Changthang valley and enchanting Lahoul-Spiti valley. During this challenging trek you cross six passes with awesome view of panoramic landscape. You see plenty of wild animals such as marmots, wild ass (Skyang) and different migrant birds across the awe inspiring and marvelous lakes. Panoramic view of Tsomoriri Lake is indescribable in words.
