- Getting around in Ooty is not a problem as there are plenty of autos, taxis, town buses and tourist cabs. For travelling to nearby places autos are recommended as the minimum charge is Rs 30. However, if you want to explore the city, try booking sight seeing tours packages from private operators or government run tour operators.
- Try to avoid taking taxis as the drivers tend to demand high fees.
