Hoffmeister Hotel Cuisines: European, French

About

Don't be surprised if you are seated next to a Czech member of parliament or pop star in this space which is tucked into Castle Hill on a small winding road, with the whole of the Little Quarter below. Priding itself on being "devoted to gourmets and connoisseurs", the Ada combines French and international dishes with more traditional Czech cuisine. Pineapple with prawns or smoked salmon is a solid starter as is the veal sweetbread while the baked pigeon entrée comes from the restaurant's farm. The 'Easter duck' entrée is also a local favorite. All charm and class, the Ada is located in one of the best hotels in the city - the Hoffmeister. Drawings by its founder - the Czech artist Adolf Hoffmeister - line the walls of the restaurant.
