At the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre, tourists can enjoy traditional masked dancing every Friday and Saturday. The stories are mostly drawn from the Indian epic, Ramayama, and the dazzling array of colors, sounds and sights make it a fantastic night out. The drama is performed in Thai, but English subtitles are shown on a screen above the stage. Tickets can sell out quickly so it is advisable to purchase them early.
